Flying high, Superintendent Dr. Rhodes, Wiley Post Elementary Principal Mrs. Rexach, and 1982 Oklahoma State Teacher of the Year and former Wiley Post Educator Kathlyn Reynolds got a special trip to Tinker Air Force Base for an up close look at the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. ✈ The Blue Angels are the official mascot of Wiley Post Elementary, making this experience memorable and historic. 6th grade Summer Recharge students ventured outside at James L. Capps Middle School to learn in the sand this week! 🏖️ Okay, it wasn't exactly beach vibes... but it was still a fun experience! After reading a poem about boundaries, students demonstrated their understanding with a hands-on activity building a fence and labeling what to keep close and what to keep away. 😎 One student put up a boundary against sharks...we think she was actually feeling the beach vibes.🦈
